| Welcome to my world! I'm in the Midst of Moving to a new town five hours from home! So pardon the Pause in the Build. Thank you! The site is undergoing some major changes that I hope will make it easier to navigate. HINT: use the sitemap as I am keeping up with the changes by putting all the page links there as I build them! I am also going to begin a LiveJournal Blog and will post that addy on the footer of the site pages soon. Then you can tune into that if you like to find out what changes I've made since you last visited. I began this site for the sole purpose of building my photography portfolio. I quickly learned that this site has a mind of its own though and it is truly a reflection of the many facets of my personality. I've added pages which showcase the works of art created by my talented friends. And there is an entire section devoted to the game of Couronne and the players who love it as well. Couronne is an Internet game hosted by miniclip.com and shockplay.com. I tend to be very inquisitive and I have many interests. I also love learning new things and meeting new people so it only made sense to go with the flow of this site and let that show forth. I love my friends, the ones I am lucky enough to have in my day to day life and the ones I've been blessed with on the Internet. I've even been lucky enough to have one of those Internet "finds" turn into a real live presence in my daily life. As I build this site I am amazed by the generosity of my friends. They've shared their precious time, skills and knowledge with me while being as patient as is humanly possible with me as I go through this learning process. Believe it or not most of the new friends in my life I met in a simple multi-player on-line game with a loyal following. It has turned out to be a gold mine with just a couple lumps of coal. I have wonderful friends all over the planet now and an entire section of my site is devoted to them and the game we all love. That game by the way is the game of Couronne. You may have even played it as a child or even today but under the name of Carrom. Take a peek in the Couronne section of the site to see pictures of the real game boards. I have some in my collection now that are well over 100 years old! I am thankful that I found that game and that it led me to my friends. Friends which I'd never have met if not for the Internet. If you get a chance please sign the guest book and use the tell a friend button to pass along the link to a friend you think would also like it. There is a forum just beginning to take shape also. The link to that is on the site map, which you get to by clicking on the enter sign below. You can use that to leave notes or comments to me as well. Or start a thread of your own. I want the site to be a place with something for everyone so give me your input. If you have any questions or ideas to share privately with me just use the email link also found on the site map page! I hope you enjoy the site and thank you for tolerating the unkempt state it is in during the build. Hopefully it isn't too difficult to explore it in it's present condition but I wanted to make it available while I build it so that you can watch it change too. If at anytime you are struck with an idea that you think would improve it or have comments you;d like to share please feel free to do so. I'm extremely easy going about that kind of thing so do not worry about offending me. I value all input. Variety is the spice of life and we all see things from different angles. Enjoy your time with me. |
